Job Summary

Under the supervision of a staff pharmacist and/or pharmacy leadership, perform routine support tasks essential to pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include preparation and distribution of medications, stock management, and departmental projects. Staffing may involve roles across central and specialized pharmacy areas.

Essential Functions

• Perform pharmaceutical calculations for preparing medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Follow safety protocols for handling medications in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Prepare compounded sterile products, distribute controlled substances, and maintain inventory, depending on the specific role.
• Assist in training Pharmacy Technician Trainees.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy practices, legal requirements, drug information, and storage procedures.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
