Job summary

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the overnight shift at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

The role includes working the night shift from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with responsibilities in distributing medications, operating Pyxis and other automated systems, and supporting quality initiatives in a high-acuity setting. A Massachusetts license and national certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
• National Certification is required (PTCB, ExCPT, or NRCPhT accepted).
• Previous acute care technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Distributive Pharmacy Services: performs duties in the institutional drug distribution system in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Dedication to quality improvement initiatives and ensuring medication safety.
• Customer service & teamwork with healthcare staff and patients.
