Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the overnight shift. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will support dispensing and restocking from the central pharmacy to patient care areas, using automated dispensing machines and Pyxis systems.

Required are a High School Diploma, MA Pharmacy Technician license, national certification (PTCB/ExCPT/NRCPhT), and prior acute care tech experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician required.
• National Certification is required (PTCB, ExCPT, or NRCPhT accepted).
• Previous acute care technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock medications from central to patient care areas using automated dispensing systems.
• Support dispensing and quality improvement initiatives with attention to medication safety.
• Provide customer service and teamwork to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
