Job summary

NW Staffing Resources teams with a Vancouver, WA long-term care pharmacy to recruit a licensed pharmacist for a full-time graveyard shift. You will dispense and verify prescriptions, provide clinical guidance, and support care teams to ensure safe, accurate medications for residents.

The role includes supervising pharmacy technicians overnight, maintaining regulatory compliance for OBRA/OSHA and controlled substances, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to optimize

Qualifications

• Active Washington Pharmacist License in good standing.
• PharmD or BS Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of OBRA, OSHA, and applicable state/federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Provide medication information and counseling to physicians, nurses, patients, and facility staff.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee overnight workflow, including data entry, packaging, labeling, and order processing.
• Maintain controlled-substance records, Emergency Kits, documentation, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Resolve medication-related concerns, support quality initiatives and training, and maintain a safe, efficient pharmacy operation.
