Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for pediatric homecare in Phoenix. The role involves overnight shifts on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00pm to 6:00am to monitor CPAP oxygen and assist with breathing during sleep apnea episodes.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering patient care, administering medications, and coordinating education and discharge planning with the care team. Requires an active RN license, BLS, health certificate, and PPD/Chest X-ray.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• BL S/CERT. required (Basic Life Support).
• Current health certificate as per facility or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Initiates plan of care and requests revisions as needed.
• Applies therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education and discharge planning.
