Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Phoenix is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric patient on an overnight shift Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00pm to 6:00am, monitoring CPAP oxygen and stimulating breathing during sleep apnea events.

The role offers pay between $28 and $32 per hour, plus benefits including health/dental/vision, HSA, PTO and retirement options. This is a pediatric homecare assignment requiring LPN licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
