Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Phoenix is seeking an LPN for overnight pediatric homecare, working Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00pm to 6:00am to monitor CPAP/oxygen and stimulate breathing during sleep apnea events.

Competitive pay between $28 and $32 per hour plus benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA and Life Insurance, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and the Maxcares program. Prior nursing experience preferred; active LPN license required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care following prescribed orders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient signs and symptoms and document nursing diagnoses.
• Oversee CPAP/oxygen monitoring and respond to apnea-related events as scheduled.

Pay: $28 - $32 per hour

Maxim Healthcare in (Phoenix) is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric patient. This patient is needing an overnight nurse on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00pm-6:00am to monitor CPAP oxygen and stimulate patient’s breathing when sleep apnea occurs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
