Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Hospital Medicine APP for the overnight shift at Royal Oak Hospital. You will join a collaborative team of APPs, physicians, and residents to care for hospitalized children, handling admissions, discharges, assessments, and care coordination during the midnight shift.

The role emphasizes independent and team-based practice to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate pediatric care overnight, with rotating weekends and a 26-hour weekly

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or a Master's in Physician Assistant studies.
• 1 year of inpatient pediatric experience preferred.
• State of Michigan NP/PA license required; BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hospitalized pediatric patients per department guidelines.
• Admit and discharge pediatric patients; coordinate care with consulting services.
• Prescribe medications and manage post-discharge care per protocols.
• Participate in daily rounds and ensure high-quality inpatient pediatric care.
• Provide overnight care with independence and collaboration with physicians.
