Job summary

The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Overnight shift in Streeterville, Chicago, IL.

This full-time role involves participating in rounds, counseling physicians on drug therapies, and ensuring safe and effective medication use for pediatric patients. Candidates must graduate from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and hold licensure or eligibility in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an American Council of Pharmaceutical Education accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily medical work rounds on day shift.
• Counsels physicians on drug therapies and pharmacokinetics.
• Monitors drug efficacies and adverse effects with lab data.
• Reviews physician orders for appropriateness and safety.
• Maintains patient profiles and narcotics records.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and participates in drug utilization evaluations.
