Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Overnight / Patching Coordinator to own end-to-end patching of Windows and Linux servers across multi data centers. You will schedule, execute, validate patches, and maintain logs while supporting overnight incidents and scheduled maintenance windows.

The role requires independent work during overnight hours, strong communication for handoffs, and collaboration with day-shift teams to meet SLA requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience required in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments and patching.
• Familiarity with VMware, AD, DNS, and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end patch cycles for Windows and Linux overnight.
• Validate patch success and document outcomes for audits.
• Coordinate with day-shift teams and change management.
• Monitor incidents overnight and perform proactive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot VMware and network issues and escalate as needed.
• Document maintenance, handoffs, and compliance reporting.
