Job summary

Invited is seeking an Overnight Bake-Off Baker for University Club San Diego. You will bake laminated pastries, quick breads, scones, cookies, and other items for the café and wholesale clients, including the San Diego Symphony during fall-to-spring. Role requires starting as early as 1:00 a.m., weekend availability, and reliable transportation.

Experience with proofing and laminated pastries is required; lifting up to 50 lbs. is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up daily prep tasks and organize workstation.
• Prepare and store all station items per Invited standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily specials and menu items.
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen.
