Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for an overnight, part-time position at the Glassport LT Structured Residence in Glassport, PA. You will monitor residents, administer medications, and coordinate care with clinicians, with 2–3 overnight shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License
• CPR/First Aid Certification required
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain Act 33/34 Clearances
• FBI Clearance when required
• Completion of licensure and regulatory trainings
• Successful completion of Physical, TB Test, Hepatitis B Titer requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily mental status assessments and monitor residents' health and wellness.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate electronic medication administration records (eMAR).
• Identify early signs of psychiatric relapse, medication side effects, and medical concerns.
• Coordinate physical and behavioral healthcare with psychiatrists, physicians, and community providers.
• Develop, document, and support individualized recovery plans focused on resident strengths and goals.
• Complete nursing assessments, physicals, and required clinical documentation.
• Provide education on medication management, wellness, and healthy living.
• Assist residents with scheduling and attending medical appointments as needed.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, staff meetings, trainings, and case consultations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards, Joint Commission requirements, and organizational policies.
