Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to evaluate patient readiness and identify potential risks.
• Prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery, including education and reassurance.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia recovery status in the PACU, promptly identifying and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the surgical team to support continuity of care.
