Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Hattiesburg, MS. The RN will provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in good standing with state licensure and BCLS required.
• ACLS and/or PALS credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Ensures infection control protocols and patient safety in care delivery.
