OrthoNebraska seeks an Extended Recovery RN to provide high-quality care for postoperative orthopedic patients. You will monitor conditions, manage pain, prevent complications, and support early mobility in collaboration with surgeons and hospital staff.

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing assessments, planning and implementing care, and ensuring a safe discharge process for patients requiring extended recovery or overnight care.

Qualifications

• Performs initial and ongoing nursing assessments to determine care needs.
• Delivers perioperative care with emphasis on safety and patient comfort.
• Applies aseptic techniques and infection control in all procedures.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists and care teams to optimize outcomes.
