Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Frederick, Maryland. The RN will provide comprehensive occupational health and clinical services in an onsite health center environment, with an overnight shift.

The ideal candidate has a strong ER background, phlebotomy skills, and the ability to work independently. Prior occupational health or urgent care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
• Minimum of three years in occupational health, ER, or ambulatory care.
• ER experience is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• BLS certification with provider training.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing and occupational health services to employees.
• Perform clinical assessments and determine appropriate interventions based on symptoms.
• Initial evaluation and treatment for workplace injuries and acute health concerns.
• Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures.
• Conduct health screenings and employee health education.
• Support workplace health initiatives for a safe environment.
• Identify and mitigate workplace health hazards with stakeholders.
• Assist with fitness-for-duty and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and services.
• Respond to urgent and emergency situations.
• Work independently in a fast-paced onsite clinic.
• Follow clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
