Job summary

Indiana University Health Medical Group seeks an Anesthesia Nocturnist to join Ball Memorial Hospital's anesthesia care team in Muncie, Indiana. The role focuses on overnight obstetric anesthesia coverage, epidurals, spinals, C-sections and OB consultations, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Shifts are 7pm–7am with a 1 week on / 2 weeks off schedule; daytime moonlighting and calls may be available for additional earnings.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Current Indiana medical license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight obstetric anesthesia coverage.
• Manage labor epidurals, spinals, C-sections and OB consultations.
• Collaborate with CRNAs/CAAs, obstetricians, nurses and support staff.
• Participate in nocturnist call schedule.
