Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Woodwind’s Hospital on the Med Surg 2 North unit. This .6 FTE overnight position runs 7pm–7:30am, with 12-hour shifts and every third weekend rotation.

You will support the nursing process, document in the EHR, and provide patient-centered care for medical, oncology, palliative and hospice patients. BLS is required; OnTrack or other nursing programs are acceptable pathways.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or obtained upon completion of OnTrack program.
• Six months of direct care experience in a related setting may be considered in lieu of training.
• Enrollment in an LPN/RN/Nurse Practitioner program with clinical rotation counts as qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and care coordination.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Support the nursing process to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure safety and quality care.
