Job summary

The Seattle Times in Kent, WA is seeking an overnight, part-time Delivery Driver (Single Copy) to join our Circulation team. You will operate a company van on an established route, delivering newspaper products to retail outlets including schools, vending machines, hotels and coffee shops. This position does not deliver to subscribers.

Shifts run from 12:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., with nights, weekends and some holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record over the last three years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Washington State Driver’s license.
• Strong math skills (tested at time of interview).
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and vendors.
• Able to lift, load, and unload 30-pound newspaper bundles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver newspapers using company van on an established route.
• Serve retail outlets such as schools, vending machines, hotels, and coffee shops.
• Ensure timely delivery and accurate route coverage.
