Job summary

The New York Times Company in the New York Metropolitan area is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our team. You will deliver newspapers and other products to multiple delivery sites, in accordance with FMCSR and company policies. This is a full-time driver position with a seven-hour shift that includes nights and weekends.

Shifts include dayside 8 hours and nightside 7-8 hours. You must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid CDL, pass a DOT medical exam, and pass pre- and post-employment drug

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• DOT medical certificate.
• Pass pre-employment and post-employment drug and alcohol screens.
• Safe operation of assigned vehicle as demonstrated by company road test.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver newspapers and other products to multiple sites in the NY Metropolitan area.
• Participate in all delivery department and production plant floor tasks as needed.
