The New York Times Company is seeking a Delivery Driver to join the team in the New York metropolitan area. This full-time role involves seven-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, and requires compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, delivering newspapers and products, and performing related delivery and plant-floor tasks. High school diploma preferred, with a valid CDL and a clean DOT record.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• DOT medical exam certificate required.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screens.
• Able to drive a manual transmission.
• Must pass company road test.
• Maintain satisfactory driving record in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years or five in last 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver newspapers and other products to multiple sites.
• Complete delivery department and production plant floor tasks as assigned.
