iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, seeks a strong news writer/editor for an in-house Phoenix role. You’ll proof, write and edit news copy, post to platforms, edit audio, plan assignments and handle core newsroom duties.

The position requires 5+ years in a newsroom, top writing skills, and a copy-editing background. You’ll work nights/weekends/holidays from our downtown Phoenix newsroom, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of newsroom experience required.
• Strong writing and editing skills required.
• Copy editing background preferred.
• Audio editing capability recommended.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends.
• Must be able to work from the downtown Phoenix newsroom.
