Atrium Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for the Neuro-Telemetry unit (36 beds) at High Point Medical Center. The role supports the Licensed Nurse in delivering patient care during 7pm–7:30am shifts, with a 3-shift weekly pattern and weekend rotations every six weeks.

Requires NC Aide I training, Nurse Aide I Registry, and BLS. The unit focuses on stroke patients with a diverse set of medical needs in a progressive care setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of NC Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation required.
• Nurse Aide I Registry required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Mansioni

• Observe patient appearance/behavior and report abnormalities to the nurse.
• Document patient vitals and intake/output as required.
• Provide patient care duties and support for the Licensed Nurse.
• Turn/reposition the patient every two hours per care plan.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and basic comfort measures.
• Assist with admission/transfer/discharge and ambulation as directed.
