Job summary

Inteplast Group in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 plastics extrusion facility. The role requires extensive experience in machine repair, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus VFD installation and programming.

Applicants should have strong mechanical and communication skills and be able to work non-standard hours, including weekends and on-call shifts; a HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in machine repair across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience installing and programming AC variable frequency drives and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical and communications skills; willingness to support non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate with limited supervision, taking ownership of maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and listen to machinery to identify malfunctions and enable proactive maintenance.
• Test machines and equipment to verify proper operation and reliability.
• Identify spare parts and submit requisitions to ensure timely repairs.
• Own one group of equipment, handling maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and rebuilds.
