Job summary

AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida, is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform high-quality MRI examinations, prepare and administer IV contrast, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment with strict QC.

The role requires ARMRIT or RT(MR) certification, BLS, and ability to communicate with diverse patients. Three twelve-hour night shifts per week, on-site at 1500 SW 1st Ave, Ocala.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families.
• ARMRIT or RT(MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in documenting in EMR/PACS systems.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment and protocols to produce diagnostic images.
• Administers IV contrast and monitors patients during exams.
• Maintains quality control checks and equipment safety standards.
• Ensures patient identification and informed consent per protocol.
• Documents procedures accurately in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about MRI procedures and safety precautions.
