Community Counseling of Bristol County Incorporated (CCBC) is seeking a qualified clinician to join the Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) team in Taunton, MA. Part-time or per diem, overnight shifts, with a starting hourly pay range and language differentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• License-eligible Master's degree or independent LICSW/LMHC/LMFT.
• Licensure supervision available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct emergency bio/psycho/social evaluations and care recommendations.
• Deliver services via office, community, or virtual appointments.
• Engage in safety planning and risk mitigation with individuals and families.
• Participate in case consults with multidisciplinary teams.
• Refer individuals to appropriate services along the continuum of care.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and licensure support.

Description of Position

Helping those during life’s most acute and disruptive moments due to psychiatric illness and substance use/abuse requires providers who are sensitive, skillful, resilient and hopeful. As a clinician supporting the Mobile Crisis Intervention team, you’ll be working with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, supervisors, psychiatric staff, nurses and those with lived experience. You will look to best practices as you assist with crises in the emergency departments and medical floors by evaluating and recommending solution-based treatment options. The Mobile Crisis Intervention supports the resiliency, wellness, and recovery of all Members to whom it provides services and integrates mental health, substance use disorder, and wellness and recovery principles and practices across the service delivery model.

Responsibilities include

• Emergency bio/psycho/social diagnostic evaluations and recommendations of care
• Flexible modes of service delivery including community response, office and virtual appointments
• Mitigate risk and engage in safety planning to support the individual and family
• Participate in case consults with multidisciplinary teams
• Assist in referring individuals and families to appropriate services along the continuum of care

Requirements

• Candidates should hold a license-eligible Master's degree or be independently licensed as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Licensure supervision is available
• The candidate must possess good organizational skills, as well as effective verbal, written and computer skills.
• Proficiency with computers including ability to use or learn to use an electronic health record system, audio-visual communication technology (i.e. doxy or Zoom), and some use of Microsoft Office suite for emails, internal document access, and organization.
