Job summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County in Taunton, MA is seeking a part-time Mobile Crisis Intervention clinician to support acute psychiatric and substance use crises. License-eligible master's or licensed LICSW/LMHC/LMFT preferred; office and community settings with overnight shifts.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess and plan care, provide flexible service delivery, participate in safety planning, and refer clients to appropriate services along the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• License-eligible Master's degree or independent licensure (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT).
• Licensure supervision is available.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Emergency bio/psycho/social evaluations and care recommendations.
• Various service modes including community, office and virtual visits.
• Risk mitigation and safety planning for individuals and families.
• Participate in case consults with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay Range: Starting $34 -$37 per hour plus language differential if applicable

Description of Position

Helping those during lifes most acute and disruptive moments due to psychiatric illness and substance use/abuse requires providers who are sensitive, skillful, resilient and hopeful. As a clinician supporting the Mobile Crisis Intervention team, youll be working with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, supervisors, psychiatric staff, nurses and those with lived experience. You will look to best practices as you assist with crises in the emergency departments and medical floors by evaluating and recommending solution-based treatment options. The Mobile Crisis Intervention supports the resiliency, wellness, and recovery of all Members to whom it provides services and integrates mental health, substance use disorder, and wellness and recovery principles and practices across the service delivery model.

Requirements

• Candidates should hold a license-eligible Master's degree or be independently licensed as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Licensure supervision is available
• The candidate must possess good organizational skills, as well as effective verbal, written and computer skills.
• Proficiency with computers including ability to use or learn to use an electronic health record system, audio-visual communication technology (i.e. doxy or Zoom), and some use of Microsoft Office suite for emails, internal document access, and organization.
