Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform environmental monitoring and testing across aseptic lines and clean rooms, ensuring compliance with cGMP/GLP and meticulous documentation.

You will maintain LIMS data, support scientists, and assist in training new team members while following safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in science or related field or AS/AA with 1-3 years of lab experience.
• Industries include testing laboratories, food, cosmetics or hospital labs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Collect and test environmental samples in aseptic lines and clean rooms per SOPs.
• Monitor non-viable/viable particulates, bioburden and related metrics.
• Maintain gowning and clean room practices; ensure proper documentation.
• Input results into LIMS and review temperature and cleaning records.
• Prepare reagents and conduct testing per cGMP/GLP standards.
• Support scientists and train new staff; assist investigations and CAPAs.
