Job Description

Overnight Member Services Representative – Planet Fitness, Houston Fitness Partners franchise.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with confidence, high energy, and professionalism as they enter and exit the club.
• Anticipate member or guest needs and respond promptly, delivering efficient, accurate customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and in a friendly manner, providing knowledgeable and accurate information.
• Use strong communication and problem‑solving skills to resolve customer concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions accurately and work to meet sales goals.
• Clean and sanitize club and equipment regularly, accounting for up to 50% of the shift.
• Explain business procedures and policies to members and guests accurately and in a customer‑friendly way.
• Work independently during the third shift (overnight) across any Planet Fitness location within the Houston Fitness Partners franchise.

Minimum Skills

• Superior customer service skills, preferably 6–12 months of face‑to‑face experience.
• Self‑starter with initiative, working with minimal direction and supervision.
• Punctuality, dependable, and a solid work ethic.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Pass a background check.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification prior to employment and maintain certification during employment.

Physical Demands

• Continual standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to work alone during the overnight shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Will encounter toxic chemicals during the shift.
• Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Some bending, twisting, and reaching required to accomplish tasks.
