Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Night Overnight Member Services Representative to greet members during late hours, guide membership options, and deliver a friendly, energetic experience. This hands-on role blends sales, front-desk service, and club operations with required cleanliness tasks.

The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, and comfortable taking initiative with minimal supervision, able to balance sales, service, and cleaning duties while ensuring a safe, welcoming gym environment.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience preferred; fitness, retail, or hospitality background is a plus.
• Comfortable starting conversations, following up with prospects, and asking for the sale.
• Friendly, professional, and able to communicate effectively with members and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests, complete check-ins, and address account alerts per club procedures.
• Conduct personalized tours, explain membership options, address objections, and close sales.
• Follow up with prospects and referrals to support membership sales goals.
• Explain amenities, promote upgrades and retail, and connect members with services.
• Process membership agreements, payments, and purchases, and keep records accurate.
• Answer calls and assist member requests, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Help new members get started and support ongoing retention.
• Complete overnight cleaning and sanitizing tasks across the club.
• Restock supplies, organize work areas, and prep the club for morning shift.
• Follow procedures; report incidents and maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete shift checklists and communicate updates to the incoming team.
• Participate in training to strengthen sales and service skills.

Member Services Representative (Overnight Shift) | Crunch Fitness

As a Member Services Representative (MSR) on the overnight shift, you’ll welcome late-night and early-morning members, help people find the right membership, and deliver the friendly, energetic experience that makes Crunch a place people want to be.

This hand-on role combines membership sales, front-desk service, and daily club operations. You’ll also complete assigned cleaning tasks and help get the club ready for a strong start each day. We’re looking for someone dependable, personable, and comfortable taking initiative with limited on-site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests, complete check-ins, and address account alerts according to club procedures.
• Conduct personalized club tours, learn about prospect goals, explain membership options, address objections, and close sales.
• Complete prospect follow-up and referral activities as assigned to support the club’s membership sales goals.
• Explain available amenities, promote membership upgrades and retail products, and connect members with personal training and other services.
• Process membership agreements, payments, and purchases accurately and maintain complete records in company systems.
• Answer calls, assist with member requests, and resolve concerns within your authority or refer them to club leadership.
• Help new members get started and support ongoing member engagement and retention.
• Complete assigned overnight cleaning and sanitizing duties, including equipment, workout spaces, restrooms, locker rooms, and other designated areas.
• Restock supplies, organize work areas, and prepare the club for the morning team.
• Follow operational, club access, and emergency procedures; promptly report incidents, safety concerns, equipment issues, and maintenance needs.
• Complete shift checklists and communicate important updates and unresolved issues to the incoming team.
• Participate in training, role-playing, and coaching to strengthen your sales and service skills.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred; fitness, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Comfortable starting conversations, following up with prospects, and asking for the sale.
• Friendly, professional, and able to verbally communicate effectively with members, guests, and teammates.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn membership, sales, and payment systems.
• Dependable, receptive to coaching, and able to balance sales, service, and cleaning responsibilities.
• Availability to work the assigned schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Work involves prolonged standing and walking, talking, computer use, bending, reaching, cleaning and sanitizing, and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds. The club is an active fitness environment with varying noise levels.

Reports to the General Manager, with daily direction and support from the Assistant General Manager and designated club leadership.
