Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is hiring a TRASH TECHNICIAN in Shepherdsville, KY. The role involves collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols, with a 6:00pm–4:30am Sunday through Wednesday schedule.

Experience in janitorial or waste disposal is preferred. Ability to lift 50–100 pounds and follow written and oral instructions in English are required. The position is full-time with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
