Lighthouse Lab Services seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Technologist for an overnight role at a hospital laboratory in Anderson, South Carolina. You will perform patient testing, maintain instrumentation, and participate in quality improvement activities.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and appropriate national registration. The job offers overnight hours with weekend rotation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required.
• MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of clinical lab testing and instrumentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical laboratory testing according to established policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and instrumentation in the department.
• Participate in quality improvement activities in the lab.
• Use laboratory information systems and related software.
• Assist with evaluation and implementation of tests and procedures.
• Assist with training and orientation of students and staff as needed.
• Complete required continuing education credits annually.
• Use supplies and resources responsibly and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Report potential compliance concerns promptly.
