Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver for overnight shifts in Pittsburgh, PA. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical supplies, and ensure accurate scanning and documentation.

This role requires reliability, strong customer service, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a clean driving record. Shift runs Saturday to Monday, 9:30pm–7:30am, with a $1/hr night differential between 10pm and 5am.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Comfortable driving in varying weather conditions.
• Familiar with technology and route optimization.
• Must have an excellent driving history.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records and supplies.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe driving and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Collaborate with teammates and adapt to changing routes.
