MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves driving a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical supplies and records with strict adherence to procedures and safety standards.

You will use a handheld scanner to track shipments, maintain professional client relations, and perform pre/post-trip inspections. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a valid driver’s license with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ with an active driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with technology and following procedures.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Able to drive in varying weather and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Follow policies, procedures and schedules with a professional client image.
• Load and unload vehicles as required and ensure safe driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Adapt to changing routes and maintain teamwork with clients and teammates.
