System One is seeking an Overnight Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our East Durham, NY facility. This contract-to-possible-hire role requires safe forklift operation and moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the warehouse.

The position offers a 12-hour overnight shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) onsite with weekly pay and potential for long-term growth. Candidates should have forklift experience and basic computer skills; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and other equipment to safely move materials.

• Check materials to ensure they are clean, labeled, and ready for use.

• Help with inventory counts.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Complete daily forklift and equipment safety checks.

Job Type: Contract to Possible Hire

Overnight Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Work Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts (B Shift & D Shift)

About the Job:

Our client is looking for dependable Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to join the team at their East Durham, NY facility. You will help keep production running by making sure employees have the materials they need. You will move raw materials, packaging, and other products around the facility using a forklift and other equipment. This is a contract-to-possible-hire position, meaning there may be an opportunity to become a permanent employee based on your performance and the company’s needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a forklift and other equipment to safely move materials.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and move around the facility.
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts.
