Job summary

Community Care Alliance is seeking a Masters-Level Clinician (Per Diem; Overnight) to join the BH Link team in Rhode Island. The role involves engaging clients in clinical assessment, coordinating care with local agencies, and facilitating referrals during overnight shifts.

You will conduct mental status exams, determine DSM-5-TR diagnoses, secure insurance authorizations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support crisis stabilization and transition to appropriate services.

Qualifications

• LCDP or master's degree in counseling or related human services field required.
• QMHP training required after entry for masters-level applicants.
• LCSW, LICSW, LMHC-A, or LMHC preferred.
• Previous experience in behavioral health and crisis level of care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover clinical program needs on a regular or on-call basis.
• Assist clients in navigating crisis and the behavioral healthcare system through assessment and referral.
• Conduct mental status exam and client-centered clinical assessment.
• Determine diagnoses based on DSM-5-TR.
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and care coordination with other providers.
• Engage in coordination of care to facilitate treatment and recovery connections.
• Provide client-centered referrals while screening for risk factors.
• Secure QMHP credentials within the first quarter of employment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within and outside the BH Link program.
