Job summary

Community Care Alliance is hiring an 988 Clinical Supervisor for an overnight, full-time position in East Providence, RI. The role leads the 988 Crisis Call Center team, ensuring empathetic crisis response, safety assessment, and effective coordination with BH Link and local responders.

The successful candidate will supervise Crisis Counselors, participate in training, and help develop resource manuals while maintaining quality call-center operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA in human services required.
• 1–3 years in crisis intervention preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages preferred (and compensated).

Responsibilities

• Answer crisis calls, chats, and texts with empathy and composure.
• Routinely assess risk of suicidality and safety with callers.
• Coordinate wellness checks and dispatch mobile crisis teams as needed.
• Coordinate with BH Link clinical team and 911 as appropriate.
• Manage the 988 Call Center coverage schedule with the supervisory team.
• Provide guidance and support to 988 Crisis Counselors during shifts.
• Organize scenario debriefings with staff and partners.
• Review documentation and metrics to ensure quality services.
