Job summary

Excel Interior Door, L.L.C. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and building systems.

The role includes an overnight shift Sunday through Wednesday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM with occasional overtime on Thursdays. The position requires adherence to OSHA regulations and detailed maintenance documentation to support production growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Manufacturing experience maintaining presses, hydraulics, engines, motors, pumps, conveyors, and production machines.
Experience troubleshooting from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and engineering specs.
On-the-job training offered.

Responsibilities

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in facility.
Plans repair work using blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
Performs the maintenance (predictive and preventative) of equipment and processes in support of the company's production and growth objectives.
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks and completing associated documentation in a timely manner.
Performs work and assists in maintaining operations in compliance with applicable policies and OSHA regulations.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Train production operators on the safe operation and minor maintenance of plant equipment.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
