Jobot in Pittston, PA is seeking an experienced Overnight Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will handle 480V three-phase systems, motors, sensors, relays, and electrical panels, with a focus on preventive maintenance and uptime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with 480V, 3-phase electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting VFDs, PLCs, sensors, motors and controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, relays, contactors and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, VFDs and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Perform mechanical repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps and other equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety procedures.

This is a stable, long-standing manufacturing facility where the Maintenance Team plays a critical role in keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical troubleshooting background, along with solid mechanical maintenance experience.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and electrical panels

• Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently on an overnight shift
