Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Best Western Gateway in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on maintaining hotel equipment, life safety systems and guest comfort while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

You will perform preventative maintenance, assist front desk, and supervise any external contractors as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand workplace language.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork and problem solving.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and working order of the hotel and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc).
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and log updates.
• Coordinate with managers and supervise external contractors as needed.
