Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic IV for its overnight operations team. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and support PLC-based systems, collaborating with engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Completion of a certified Journeyman or Apprenticeship Program.
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Support and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to implement long-term corrective actions.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance records in company systems.
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Support facility maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
