Job summary

Thorne is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Summerville, SC to maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment. This 12-hour overnight role supports equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Experience in cGMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment to maximize reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality for installations and improvements.
