Qualifications

Overview

Job Title: Facilities Shift Supervisor

Salary: $75,000 +

About Monarch Casino Resort

Located in Black Hawk, Monarch Casino Resort is a 23-story resort with over 500 rooms, 4 restaurants, and one of the country's top spas. We are seeking a passionate Banquet Manager to join our team! You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that exceeds guest and team member expectations.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and refine a preventative/predictive maintenance program, coordinating efforts between maintenance technicians and management to ensure proper execution.
  2. Coordinate with the Maintenance Schedule/Planner to ensure correct PM inspections are scheduled and completed timely with appropriate resources.
  3. Specify repair techniques for repetitive PM tasks and develop standards for task lists, materials, and tools.
  4. Ensure PM technicians are trained and knowledgeable to execute Task Lists; promote continual skill development through training, certifications, and seminars.
  5. Refine work content in Task Lists to improve and upgrade PM procedures.
  6. Review equipment failures to identify preventive measures and protect against future failures.
  7. Analyze PM reports, equipment histories, failure reports, and work orders to develop solutions for chronic maintenance issues.
  8. Implement innovative strategies to reduce maintenance needs and eliminate failures.
  9. Maintain accurate 'Critical' spare parts lists and standardize components where possible.
  10. Execute daily management priorities and oversee operational execution.
  11. Manage departmental goals by actively participating in daily operations, ensuring timely processing and completion of Work Orders, utilizing the CMMS system for tracking and reporting.
  12. Convert emergency work into planned work by effective planning and resource management.
  13. Minimize guest impact from work orders, aiming for a response time under 10 minutes for at least 85% of calls.
  14. Monitor labor efficiency to maximize productivity, aiming for overall team efficiency above 90%.
Qualifications
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or management, with strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, boiler, and mechanical systems, and maintenance/repair expertise.
  • EPA 608 Certification required.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including Life Safety.
  • Proficiency with Work Order Management software and computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
