Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Overnight Hotel Maintenance/Engineer 1 to diagnose, service, and repair resort equipment including electrical, plumbing, HVAC refrigeration, and safety systems. This role emphasizes preventive maintenance and prompt response to inquiries with a courteous, professional approach.

Preference given to candidates with 3–5 years of related experience, knowledge of blue prints and hydraulics, and HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience, preferably with Four Seasons or similar luxury hotel.
• Technical knowledge of general building maintenance and facility systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of blue prints, wiring diagrams and hydraulics.
• On-the-job training or experience plus certifications in Refrigeration and HVAC Systems.
• Must be able to operate computer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage preventive maintenance of equipment and log updates.
• Diagnose and repair motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms or public areas promptly.
• Handle emergencies such as fires or power failures efficiently.
• Maintain organized work, department and equipment spaces.
• Install or relocate equipment as needed and support renovations.
• Assist energy conservation programs within the hotel.
• Set up electrical and mechanical systems for renovations and exhibits.
