Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for night shift in our Omaha warehouse. You’ll operate picker equipment, tow-tractor, pallet jack, and scanners to locate, pick, bin and move products safely.

Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, returning goods to stock, and reporting discrepancies. Must be able to lift and work in high places; HS diploma preferred and 18+ years old. Shift is Monday–Friday nights, with weekends off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-year warehouse experience.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate Scan equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product.
• Safety: handle product safely and follow material handling safety practices.
• Locate and return-to-stock, received goods and transferred product.
• Report discrepancies and ensure products are picked and binned.
• Monitor daily progress and report roadblocks to supervisor.

Pay Range: $17.85 - 22.22 Hourly PLUS $4 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL!

The scheduled hours for the role are Monday through Friday from 10:00pm-6:30am, with Saturday and Sunday OFF!

If so, our Machine Operator could be the perfect fit for you. You will safely handle and transport our product within our warehouse.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Operate Scan equipment to locate, pick, bin and cycle product
• Safety Handle product in a safe and secure manner and observe material handling safety practices
• Accuracy Locate and return-to-stock, received goods and transferred product into appropriate areas
• Report Conduct driver load exception reports ensuring all products have been picked and binned for accountable processes
• Monitor Track daily progress and immediately report discrepancies, errors or potential roadblocks to supervisor
