United Security Inc. is seeking an Overnight Security Officer for a luxury hotel in Boston, MA. The role requires monitoring of premises, responding to emergencies, and maintaining safety for guests and staff.

The schedule includes night shifts (11p-7a) with 32 hours per week. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in security within luxury environments, proficiency with integrated security systems, and strong written/verbal communication.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years experience in a security officer role within luxury hotels, high-end residential, or Class A corporate setting preferred.
• Computer Literacy, minimum 2 years experience working with integrated security systems, and advanced skill level with Microsoft Office
• Problem solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent Organizational Skills and able to multi-task projects
• Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Patrol hotel premises regularly to maintain a visible presence and deter security threats.
• Monitor security systems including CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and incidents such as disturbances, theft, medical emergencies, or fire.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Enforce hotel rules and policies professionally and respectfully.
• Write clear, detailed reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
• Assist guests and employees with safety-related issues or concerns.
• Coordinate with local emergency services when needed.
• Conduct investigations into property damage, theft, or other suspicious activity.
• Support crowd control during events or high-occupancy periods.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health procedures in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
