Job summary

Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe, NY is seeking an overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver high-quality nursing care, administer medications, and support resident well-being. The role offers a 6:30 pm–7:30 am schedule with every other weekend, a $31–$34.24/hour rate, a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, and a shift differential up to $2.00.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric population preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies.
• Administer medications, treatments, enteral feedings, and IV therapies within LPN scope.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers and supervisors.
• Accurately document care, treatments, observations, and medication administration.
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care.
• Maintain up-to-date resident care information and communicate during shift changes.
• Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing responsibilities as assigned.
