Job summary

Innovative Life Solutions is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a Monday–Thursday overnight shift in Southeast Washington, DC. You will provide person-centered nursing care, monitor health needs, administer medications, and document care per plan of care.

The role requires DC LPN licensure, CPR/First Aid, and ability to work the full nocturnal schedule with reliability and teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active District of Columbia LPN license.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within the org's timeframe.
• Ability to complete background checks and regulatory clearances.
• Clear communication and confidentiality in handling health information.
• Experience with medication administration and nursing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered nursing care per each plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments and document accurately.
• Monitor health status, identify changes, and escalate as needed.
• Complete nursing notes, health assessments, and required records.
• Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and support staff.
• Support continuity of care during admissions, transitions, and med changes.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures; report concerns.
• Maintain dependable attendance for the full scheduled shift.
