Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Hutto, TX) is seeking a full-time Driver, Operations-Overnights (BHN). The role combines driving commercial vehicles (GVWR >10,000 lb and ≤26,000 lb) for local P&D with warehouse duties including receiving, put-away, order picking and quality control.

You will follow DOT/FMCSR and SOPs, operate forklifts, verify shipment paperwork, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (material handling equipment).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass federal/state/local background checks and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles within a 20 air-mile radius to deliver and recover freight.
• Verify shipment bills for required information prior to loading.
• Load and unload freight safely; weigh and check dimensions.
• Use gas or electric forklifts/MHE to load outbound shipments and move stock.
• Pull and prepare shipments for shipment; ensure accurate documentation.
