Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Driver, Operations Lead‑ Days (BHD) in Hutto, TX. The role combines commercial driving with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, picking and quality control, within a tight DOT‑compliant framework.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of logistics experience, and valid forklift training. Candidates must pass background checks and drug tests, with a valid CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (forklifts, etc.).
• Satisfactory forklift training certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass federal/state/local background checks and drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate company commercial vehicles within a 20‑mile radius to perform P&D.
• Load/unload freight safely; weigh and check dimensions.
• Verify shipment paperwork and ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform receiving/put‑away, order picking and inventory control.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow SOPs/OSHA rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
